When I was 15 years-old and working at Burger King, I got a $50 gift certificate for Target or Kmart for a Christmas bonus. I was thrilled! It was a small way to say thanks for my hard work making my Burger King’s fry station the top in the Midwest – I kid you not.I’m just about to end my third Christmas here at the “House of Bad Decisions and Missed Markets” and over the past three holiday seasons I’ve received the following as thanks — “Great job. Great job. All around the table, great job”, which is nice, I guess.
