So it’s -10°F right now. It’s cold, no question. But I live in a metro area… the same metro area that I grew up in. Apparently things have changed so much in the past 20 years that they now close schools in my home town when it gets cold. District 833 for South Washington County, Minnesota decided to shut the whole thing down today.
I’m glad I don’t pay taxes there any longer. But really, what can you do? The public schools have you by the throats. There is no option but to keep paying, paying, paying. Paying for people who make decisions like this.
