I started the day off with a bit of public speaking. I’ve never stood up in front of people for more than a couple of minutes at a time and yesterday I did 20 minutes. What I’d been dreading is now over. Whew.
Returned home and went into cleaning/dealing with the sick kids mode. At some point in the afternoon, cleaning became new floor for the bathroom time. OK. I can dela with that. This became “we should just replace that old toilet” time.
After all was said and done, the wallpaper border was stripped off (good riddance), the new vinyl floor was put in and there is a new toilet installed. Took a few hours and a couple hundred bucks.
Still need to paint.
